What Causes Difficulty In Breathing?

I have a concern about a difficaulty breathing. I have no trouble when I am asleep, but when I am awake I seem to having trouble getting air into my top right quadrent of my lungs. this has been going on for four days. just yesterday I noticed a creaking in my right lung. What could be going on?

So get done clinical examination of respiratory system, chest x ray and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
