What Causes Diastolic Dysfunction And LVH?

I am a 52-year-old man whose significant medical history includes Crohn's disease and OSA (seemingly well-controlled with CPAP).
Recently diagnosed on echocardiographic screening (due to brother with aortic aneurysm) with stage II diastolic dysfunction and mild to moderate LVH. Not previously diagnosed with hypertension. Posterior wall 1.39 and IVsD 1.53, as I recall. Left atrium mildly enlarged.
I am 6'2" with current weight of about 228.
Am trying to make sense of this as a layperson and also am awaiting results of cardiac MRI on Monday.
Since this echo diagnosis 5 weeks ago, I have taken lisinopril 10 mg. and recently switched to losartan 50 mg. Other work-up since echo diagnosis has included: normal EKG; normal catecholamines; and normal BNP. Also, 24-hour ambulatory BP monitoring reflected either well-controlled HTN lisinopril or no HTN at all.
Very stressful dealing with this, your thoughts appreciated.

This are the common echo findings of the patients having long standing and poorly control high blood pressure, the diastolic dysfunction can be questioned, in short this is nothing to worry, now you have to have the antihypertensive medicine very regularly and try to change the life style too, hope this information helps you have nice day.
