What causes diarrhoea and pressure in the stomach?

Hi, I've been having diarrhea on and off( with short breaks of a few days in between), for the past couple months. The bowel movements only occur early evening thru the morning. They are often preceded by pressure, tightness/gurgly sounds in the stomach, or sometimes lower back pain. It doesn't seem to be in any pattern connected to my diet. I take probiotics every day too

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of diarrhea and pressure in stomach which seems to be due to irritable bowel syndrome, gastroenteritis, and It could be due to electrolyte imbalance in body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined. Start treatment after proper prescription. You should take oral rehydrating solution and plenty of fluids. You should apply isbool at times. Avoid taking dairy products. You should take fluoroquinolones and diet rich in fibres. You should take small and frequent meals. Avoid intake of outside food.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
