What Causes Diarrhea With High HB Level And Yellowing Of Skin?

iv been ill since september with dihorea which has mucus in it plus my hemaglobin level was higher than normal and my oxygen level was low. iv had dizzy spells and hot sweats. im beginin to get worried as im always tired and have yellow skin on my bad days. please help

Noted the history of diarrhea with mucus since September, hemoglobin level more than normal, but low oxygen level, dizzy spells, hot sweats, tired, yellow skin. Your history is suggestive of an intestinal issues which has given secondary problems as you have posted.

I would advise you the following:

- Clinical evaluation by a Gastroenterologist and Hematologist.
- Tests of stool.
- Blood- CBC.
- Anemia typing, hemoglobin electrophoresis and as advised by the Specialists.
- Colonoscopy and biopsy.

All these will lead to a proper diagnosis so that the treatment will be appropriate.
