What Causes Diarrhea, Loss Of Appetite And Pain In The Ribs?

Friend has odd symptoms... buzzing (versus numbness or tingling) in her legs and hand, bruising without recalling any injury multiple locations, diarrhea x 2 months, loss of appetite x 1 week, left side rib cage pain extending from back and wrapping around to front (no sign of shingles). Had an MRI of back, all normal.

Noted the history about your friend and understood your concerns.
Diarrhea of 2 months is a long time to suffer without any diagnosis and proper management. This can be a manifestation of the disease that has caused other symptoms of buzzing in legs and hands, bruising at multiple locations.
The pain in the right ribs radiating from back but a normal MRI indicate that there may be radiculopathy or single nerve affection either by costochondritis or so.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Get a consultation of a Doctor and reference to the higher Specialty center if needed.
Tests of blood, urine and stool as per the clinical evaluation can help to get proper diagnosis and guide for further investigations and proper management.
