What Causes Diarrhea And Vomiting After Unprotected Intercourse?

I had unprotected sex last Saturday and two days later was sick with diarrhea and vomiting then Thursday night was the last night I took my birth control because Friday night was the start of the 4th row where I should have a period. It is now Sunday and still no period, it has been 2 nights now. Could I be pregnant?

Hi,

I think your symptoms aren't related to the pregnancy. The cause of the vomiting an diarrhea are some. But you need to do a physical examination, taking a history (about what you have eaten) by a doctor and culture stool, and to exclude parasites in stool. although you should test for a pregnancy.

I hope my answer will help you. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Monika Dede
