What Causes Diabetes?

hi last week my doctor said to mom that she has diabetes as her blood sugar level is 10 but we have dnt have in our family I mean hereditary plus she dnt have any symptoms and recently she had a deep cut and two tooth extractions at same time which healed quickly thus we are very confused howcan she have diabetes then let me tel u it's type 2

dear sir I understand your concern.let me explain you about type 2 diabetes.there are two factors which will overlap on each other for the inset of diabetes.one is genetic factors I.e family history of diabetes and second one is environmental factors which includes things like obesity,your exercise , diet ,stress,ect.so both of them play together for the onset of diabetes.kindly get back to me for further clarification.....regards
