What causes depression and fatigue along with muscle pain?

I was diagnosed with cat scratch disease in a swollen lymph node in 2005. I had no symptoms other than the swollen lymph node. I have since had 3 additional lymph nodes removed. 2 cultured as necrotic cells and the latest (Feb 2017) as a granuloma. Symptoms over the past 12 years have included periods of depression and fatigue, joint and muscle pain, tingling or shock-like feelings in my hands and fingers, intermittent blurred vision along with other things. I had a rheumatic panel completed at my physical which showed a mildly elevated CCP. Being that the Bartonella bacteria is associated with both Lyme Disease and Cat Scratch Disease, should I be tested for both along with the referral to the Rheumatologist?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It looks like you are already suffering from rheumatic musculoskeletal pain which is further triggered by the tick bite causing Lime's disease. Visit ER, get examined and treated for the tick bite so that the joint pain and swellings do not accelerate. You need to get your nerve function tests done, nerve damage is a cause of pain and get treated for fibromyalgia. Yes, see a rheumatologist. Stress from fibromyalgic pain causes anxiety, fatigue and depression. You need medications and proper clinical treatment, get treated. Do not let depression complicate to bipolar problems, dysthymia or SAD.

Hope I have answered your query.
