Hello sir/madam...I am 24 years old female already had a girl baby of 4 years old...now i had a missed periods of 14 days delay...i took a urine test in a pregnancy kit when it was 6 days delay..i got negative result...but still more 8 days had passed out..i didnt get my periods..what shoul i do?,shall i take mensovit or again i need to take urine test..will it show positive?
Hi, thanks for your question in HCM. I can understand your concern regarding your delayed period. There are many other reasons for delayed or missed period other than pregnancy like thyroid dysfunction, polycystic ovarian disease, low haemoglobin, certain medications, stress etc. As your pregnancy kit test has already became negative and still you have got periods, it is better to take a ultrasound abdomen first to rule out other possible diagnosis before taking any medicine. Take care.
