What Causes Delayed Periods?

Im confused Because in nov 2016 ma period has happened on 15th and after taking unwanted 72 it again happened on 1st dec I and ma partner had unprotected sex on 31st dec and i have done pregnancy test also last week the result is negative Bt till now no periods
