What Causes Delayed Periods With Swelling In Uterus And Breasts?
Hi, I am 6 days late for my period. I have taken three negative pregnancy tests the last at 3 days late, I also had a negative blood test completed on this day. I had a miscarriage 8 months ago and my cycle took 3 months to return to the normal 28 day cycle but has been regular for the last 5 months. I normally get spotting 3 days before a period but haven t experienced any this cycle. I have had a swollen feeling in my uterus and swollen tender breasts for about a week. I now have a clear stringy discharge. I am very confused as to what to do.
Hello, Thanks for letting us know your health concern. I have gone through your query and would like to offer some suggestions. Since you have had repeatedly negative urine tests and above this, a negative blood test for pregnancy, you cannot be pregnant. The possibility in the current scenario is a transient hormone imbalance. A proper clinical evaluation along with a trans-vaginal sonogram should help to clarify the situation. Please maintain a healthy weight, healthy diet and regular exercise. Hope this helps.
