What Causes Delayed Periods With Lower Abdominal Pain?
I m 8 days late for my period. They are always pretty regular. I ve taken several pregnancy test and one this morning. They all were negative. I m having pains in my lower right abdomen. Sometimes it s like a sharp pain. Just wondering what this could be.

Period may be normally delayed some times even in those ladies who have history of regular period.You can wait for few more days.
Pain may be due to many reasons like genito-urinary causes,pelvis causes,colitis,appendicitis etc.
You need proper clinical examination and routine investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram,random blood sugar,renal function test,ultrasound of abdomen,urine culture/sensitivity.
Treatment depend upon findings.Ultrasound can exclude many possibilities.
