What Causes Delayed Periods While On Gestin?

Hi My wife was taken gestin tablet from day 15 to day 25 of her mentural cycle... Now she doesn t have periods. Today is past three days delay...She doesn t have any sign of getting periods today.... Does the intake of gestin tablet will cause delaying the periods...?

Hi I think you should do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first. If negative, you can wait for one more week and repeat the test. It may take 10 days for periods to come after stopping the tablet. Gestin will support your pregnancy if pregnancy is there. If not pregnant, it will induce the periods. Hope it helps.
