What Causes Delayed Periods While On Althea Pills?

hi doctors.. im taking althea pills for almost 1 year and this month december 15, 2016 i expect my menstrual period but then its already 3 days i havent had my period yet..should i continue another set of taking althea? im taking pills the same time and sometimes i forgot to drink but as soon as i remember i drink it.please help me

Hello,

Contraceptives should be taken every day correctly. If you think you missed any day and you have had sex there may be a chance that you can get pregnant. I would suggest you to take a pregnancy test first. If the test is negative then you should consult your ObGy.
