What Causes Delayed Periods And Negative Pregnancy Test?

Hi Doctor,
I had a DNC last month and then later I was advised to take cytolog tablet after one week of DNC since I had some discharge.
Now this month I still did not get my periods. I did a PregTest and it showed negative. What is the reason for the delayed pregnancy? Is there any pill to get periods?

In my opinion, the delay in period with negative pregnancy test might suggest some hormonal imbalance which is quite natural after abortion. I suggest you to repeat urine pregnancy test after a week. And if it is still negative then consult a doctor as you might need medicines for withdrawal bleeding or period. Don’t worry, the normal regular periods might resume soon.
