What Causes Delayed Periods And Frequent Urination?
Good Afternoon. I m 38 years old and had the Essure produce done in 2006, I m also on birth control pills ( Heather) for cyst on my ovaries. I m 20 days late on my period. Also I usually pee about every 2 hours even at night. But the past few nights I havent wake up at all to go to the restroom. I m having mild cramping on my right side. I have taken 2 home pregnancy test and both has been negvite. I have a Dr appointment on the 27th but worried I m might be pregnant or something more serious. Is this something I should ve worried about?

Hi,
The contraceptive used for ovarian cysts (progesterone only pills) have the side effect of irregular periods. Your delayed period may be due to that.
Frequency of urination is not a side effect of pill. &specially with right side cramping... you should exclude UTI or diabetes forths symptom.
