What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Nausea, Vomiting And Dizzy Spells?

My last period went for three weeks starting on the 13 January to 8 February, which revealed a haemorrhagic cyst on the left ovary. I was placed on Primolut N for six weeks, which I discontinued on the 9th of March. I still haven t started to bleed yet. I also have all day nausea without vomiting, dizzy spells, weird food cravings, blood pressure of 143/96 with a pulse of 108, and lower abdominal pain for the past eight days. Plus an ultrasound showed yesterday that my cervix is closed, the cyst is gone and a home urine pregnancy test came back negative. Could I be pregnant?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear,
Understand your concern.
But sometime pregnancy kit give false result so repeat after 10 days to confirm or you can do blood HCG level that is very specific than UPT.

Following are the reason for late:
1. High level of stress
2. Change in life style
3. Late ovulation
4. Excessive exercise
5. Drugs: Birth control pills, tyroid medication, Excessive tea and caffeine
6. Thyroid problem
7. Hormonal imbalane: i think this is the main cause in your case.
8. PCOS
9. Endometriosis
10. Dysfunctional uterine bleeding

Also note that
Menstruation required co ordinate action of various hormone that secreted by ovary (estrogen and progesterone) and brain (FSH and LH).
If any above hormone is decreased or increased there is imbalance in menstruation.
So please do full hormonal profile : Estrogen, progestron, LH, FSH, HCG and thyroid hormone.
That help to diagnose hormonal imbalance.
Also do Follicle study, endometrial biopsy and hysteroscopy.

Take more frequent meal rather than large meal
Relaxation exercise and musical therapy
Do regular walking and exercise.
Eat healthy diet
Avoid excessive tea and caffeine
Take tablet Panmax-D three times a day 30 minutes before meal
Probiotic tablet orally/vaginally
Maintain hygiene Wash your vagina with warm salt water 4-5 times in a day
Wear loose pure cotton inner wear
Keep the vagina clean (Not wet)

After confirmation you can take treatment according So please go ahead.

Hope this may help you
All the best.
Stay healthy.
