What Causes Delayed Periods After Unprotected Intercourse?

Hi I m 18 and my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex on 2/17, although he didn t ejaculate inside me. I was suppose to get my period on 2/28 but it never came. My boyfriend and I were worried so I took a pregnancy test on 3/2 and it was negative. I took another on 3/4 and it also came back negative. My period still hasn t come. Can you please provide me with some reassurance and/or help?

Hi, I think you can take some medicines like progesterone for inducing periods. it can be due to some stress factor also. If your periods remain irregular like this for few more months, get a thyroid profile and prolactin levels and a ultrasound for your uterus and ovaries done.
