General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Yes, it is possible to have delayed or irregular menstrual periods while/after Meprate drug consumption. Usually it takes 4 to 6 months to normalize periods and restoring fertility.

It is hormonal imbalance which causes irregular menstruations. No need to worry for this.

In such scenario to delay the periods you need to start oral contraceptive pills. However, before that please consult and take advice of gynecologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
