What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking I-pill?

Hi sir, I had an intercourse with my boyfriend on 23 and 24 oct and on 23rd he had an frenulum tear and he ejalucated his sperm and blood inside me that eveng I took I pill and my next period has to be on 13th of November but it has been a week plus now and I didn t get my periods and I dont have any symptoms of pregnancy except missed periods and lil pain in lower abdomen. Am I pregnant?

Hello dear
I understand your concern
You have taken I pill with in 24 hour of the sex.
It is highly effective in preventing the pregnancy.
It has 95-97% success rate.
Period can be delayed by the 1-2 week as I pill contain high progesterone pill.
It prolong the second phase of the period and cause delayed in period.
So Wait for the period, it will come in next 6-7 days.
Meanwhile avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water, maintain proper pelvic hygiene and do regular exercise
