What Causes Delayed Periods After Ipill Withdrawal Bleeding?

I had unprotected sex on the 10th day of my periods and took ipill in the 12th hour. After that I had vaginal bleeding after 4 days which lasted for 5 days. My menstruation cycle is 26 to 28 days and its 32 days ...I havent got my periods... I am very very tensed. What should I do

Hi,
As you have taken the emergency contraception, your normal hormonal milieu is likely to get disturbed and this is evident by the withdrawal bleeding you had. This would further cause a delay in your next normal period by a week or two. As such, if you have regular 28-30 day cycles, you were in the safe period when the intercourse happened and therefore, you did not need the pill at all. Please see a specialist for further help if you do not see your next period even after ten days after it is due. Hope this helps.
