Hello,

You are suffering from delayed period, vaginal spotting and headache. You are on fertility blend vitamins to help you get pregnant. Vaginal spotting can be a sign of early pregnancy. Your periods are already delayed, wait for a couple of days to confirm missed periods. Headaches are common in the first stages of pregnancy but tend to ease up over the months. Hunger and low levels of blood sugar can trigger headaches.

Stress, hormonal changes can also cause headaches during pregnancy. People may experience light bleeding during early pregnancy, known as spotting. You are suggested to wait for a couple of days if you miss your periods you should get urine test done with the first morning midstream urine. Get clinically examined by a gynecologist, get per vaginal check up done to detect bulky uterus.

You may be asked to get USG (Uterus and fallopian tube) done to detect gestational age and well being of the fetus and also to detect ectopic pregnancy. You will be accordingly managed. Other causes of delayed periods may be anemia, weight loss, PCOS, thyroid disorder, poor general health condition, etc. If required, you will have to get few more blood tests done. Your management will depend on the pathology detected.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
