What Causes Delayed Period After Taking Plan B While HPT Is Negative?

Hi, I have a question about a late/missed period. My last period ended April 27th. I had unprotected sex that night and took plan b one step early the next morning of the 28th. I experienced some spotting for a couple of days but no heavy bleeding. I had sex a couple of more times between then and May 7th but a condom was used. Now I believe I am a week late for my period. I took 2 pregnancy tests and they were both negative. I know there is a possibility I COULD be pregnant. But what is the likelihood? I am a college athlete and I would like not to have to completely crush my family with the news of I don t have to.

I really appreciate your concern, the best way to rule out the pregnancy in case of amenorrhea, is to get done the ultrasonography test and this is the only best option instead of thinking about the clinical symptoms and taking chance, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
