What Causes Delayed Menstruation?

i was around 4 weeks pregnant n i did medical abortion and got my periods on 22nd august,..those lasted for 6 days.,. nxt month i got my periods on 16th september.,bt now m not having my periods dis month,.,.generally my cycle is short,.,ie. 24-26 days.i did pregnancy test also.,.which showed a negative result,,but m still worried that whether the abortion was successful or not? if yes why m i not getting my periods,.,plz hlp,.???

Hi,
I understand your query.
IN case of incomplete abortion I , bleeding does not stop before every thing is out. In your case you have gone for medical abortion,had bleeding on 22ndAugust. This was followed by normal periods I don't see possibility of abortion here.
- You can clear your doubt by USG lower abdomen.
- Repeat your pregnancy test after a week.
Hormonal imbalance is another thing which causes such problem. if the irregularity of periods continues, you have to consult a Gynecologist & take treatment for ir.
