What Causes Delayed Menstrual Cycle Other Than Pregnancy?

Hi I had no periods. My doctor did ultrasound and said there is no pregnany and all my urine pregnancy tests proved negative.. She suggested me duphaston for 1 week. What would be the actual reason for missing my periods soo long. LMP was 14th nov and 36 day cycle, taking inofolic and trying for pregnancy.. 30 yrs old with one child and never had so long delay of periods.!

it can be due to causes other than pregnancy can be hormonal imbalance. can be sevior iron deficiancy anemia. consult gynechologist for examination and advise on diagnosis and treatment.should go for repeated pregnancy test and blood test for pregnancy to be done in laboratory. if it is negative then pregnancy is ruled out.
