What Causes Delay In Periods,tiredness And Breast Tenderness?

My name is Caitlin and I am 18 years old. The birth control pills I am on is only progesterone. No estrogen because I am extremely sensative to it - as well as other medications. My last period was last month. About 5 weeks ago. I still not have had it. It could be due to stress yet I have been eating well... A little too well. My breasts are super tender and sensitive. They are darker, heavy, and the areoles have opened. I feel as if I have a hormone imbalance because my moods change constantly. And I also extremely tired at times or energized. And constipation. Could this mean I am pregnant?

Welcome to HCM.
Commonest reason of missed period in a sexually active woman is pregnancy but it may be due to stress also.
Breast tenderness & dark areolas are non-specific signs of pregnancy and pregnancy can't predicted based upon them only.
You have missed periods for 1 week, so it is advisable to do a home pregnancy test to clear your doubt of being pregnant or not. Please read the instructions given on the kit and follow accordingly. Use a morning sample of first void.
