What Causes Delay In Periods?

Hi, i have a problem. Im currently sexually active and my period was supposed to come on on September 21st, and it is now October 5th. My partner and i have unprotected sex and he admitted to ejaculating. I took a home pregnancy test yesterday and it came u negative.

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion if there was pregnancy it would have been positive just after a week of missed period.As the test is negative the chance of pregnancy is rare.So relax.The delay in period can be due to stress regarding the thought of pregnancy.I suggest you to repeat the
test and consult a doctor.If the test is negative you might need medicines for periods.So relax.Avoid stress.
