What Causes Delay In Periods While On Adderall?

Hello, I have been on 20mg xr adderall since February of this year. I was about a week late on my period in May and I haven t had a period since June 25th. It s been almost 8weeks. I took two home pregnancy tests both came back negative. I also went to the doctors they tested me and also ran my blood to see if my thyroid is messed up. I m not pregnant and my thyroid is wrong. I haven t lost a dramatic amounts of weight. I ve been around 140 since May. I m starting to get very concerned.

As per my clinical experience, there are many uses of Adderall as a stimulant medicine with Amphetamine content.

Of many ill effects of the drug, the common concern is effect over the hypothalamus pituitary axis, which can hamper the level of estrogen and progesterone in the body. Hence, even if there is no significant weight loss, delay in periods is predictable with this manner.
