What Causes Delay In Periods While On Implanon?
I have implanon inserted in my arm. I got it in, 09, so Its very expired. I m 9 days late for my cycle, and Im wondering if its even possible the implanon is effective still? I took a pregnancy test but it could be too early still, when should I take another one?

Understand your concern
There may be chance of pregnancy as implanon is expired. Again do home urinary pregnancy test after 3-4 day with fresh urine sample in early morning. Better confirmation should be done by blood HCG and USG scan.
In absence of pregnancy, other cause is hormonal imbalance as your implanon is expired. Implanon also cause ovarian cyst that also lead to delayed period.
In absence of pregnancy, period can be induced by using medroxyprogesterone acetate injection.
