General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

She needs USG scanning for excluding pregnancy. In absence of pregnancy, the symptoms suggest urinary tract infection. Such infection itself can delay periods. A specific treatment with antibiotics would relieve your problem.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
