What Causes Delay In Periods Inspite Of Taking Unwanted 72?

Hi I had sex with my gf on 27th sept. and I gave her unwanted 72 and again we had sex on 29 sept and again I gave unwanted 72 ... and now today is 8 october and she didnt get her period . is she pregnant ? or her period delay . uf her period delay soso for how many days ?

Incomplete data like the expected date of next period following unprotected sex.

Taken within 72 hours of unprotected penetrative sex, emergency contraceptive pill lik Unwanted-72 is effective in preventing the pregnancy in only 85-90% of the users.

Delayed periods could be due to pregnancy, hormonal imbalance, stress, emotional upset or certain medical illness.

So, you are advised to get the pregnancy test done on an early morning urine sample. If the test is negative, consult a gynecologist for further evaluation which may need certain lab tests and drugs like Progesterone to induce period (bleeding).
