What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having Negative UPT?

I had a unprotected sex with my gf on 26 march and after 6days she had a bleeding and now she missed her periods but she did pregnancy test with prega news kit and it shows negative. Can plz suggest me , what can i do now? Her last months period started on 20 march

Brief Answer :
Very Little possibility of being pregnant.

Detailed Answer :
As a physician I would like to comfort you that there are very very less chances that she might be pregnant. According to the history pointd out by you, she had her periods on 20th march and you had sex on 26th march, so in between that period there are very less chances of ovulation and getting pregnant.

I would advise to you and her that you repeat the UPT after 7 days. It if still come out to be negative you don't have to worry about anything. But, if she continues to miss her periods even after 1.5 months, yo need o schedule an appointment with your Gynecologist for thorough checkup followed by a USG to be 100% sure.
