Hello,
Thank you for your query.

It may take upto 10day for your period to show up after discontinuing norethisterone. (usually 3-5 days).
If you are on the pill, you would be taking it for 21 days, with a vitamin or placebos for the remaining one week during which you would get your period.
You would then go on the pill again.

Hormonal contraceptives, major life events (like a marriage), travel, emotional & physical stress, ovarian cysts can cause hormonal imbalances that result in irregular periods. If you still breastfeed, this may also contribute to the irregular cycles.

I recommend waiting for a couple more weeks. If you are not on any medications & you don't get your period, take a home pregnancy test & see your OBGYN with the results, even if negative.

If you continue the pill, take it as prescribed and after 21 days of the course, you should get your period within a week. If not, do not start on the next course, see your OBGYN.

Hope this helps.
Please let us know if we can help with anything else.
Wish you good health
