I am three days late on my mestrual cycle and I took two tests and it came out negative. My menstrual is always on time and never late. My boobs aren t sore much but I am getting light cramping on lower pelvic area. I usually excersise heavy but I haven t in almost two weeks could that be why it s late? I am going to wait a couple of more days and then test again if still negative I ll consult a doctor

Hi thanks for contacting HCM..

First for delayed period pregnancy has to be ruled out ...

For that blood Hcg estimation done along with USG ....

USG will also help in rule out pelvic inflammatory disease if present ....As cramps present ...So suspecting it ...
For that antibiotic needed ..

If you are taking stress than also period can be delayed ....

Rule out diabetis also ....

Sometime excess exercise can lead such problem ...

If obese loose weight ....

USG help in rule out ovarian cause if present. ..

If still cause not clear thyroid profile done ..

Hope I have solved your concern ..

Take care .
