What Causes Delay In Periods And Abdominal Pain After Discontinuing Duphaston?

i am on metformin hcl 850 mg twice a day and this is my 3rd month on metformin hcl 850 mg...in last 2 months i was using metformin with comibination of duphaston and i got my periods on 17th feb then in next month on 14th march and in this month i was not taking duphaston and my periods suppossed to come on14th of this month which is still not yet come...kindly guide me what should i have to do now...and from 5 days on and off i am having lower abdomen pain and sore breast...

Regarding what caused delay in normal menstrual period is your discontinued duphaston but other disease conditions such as premature ovarian failure Ovarian cyst Hormonal inbalance and pregnancy can cause delayed in menses

In view of this please do a pelvic scan Pregnancy test and hormone profile test to rule out the above condition

Regarding your abdominal cramp please take tablet feldene and schedule an appointment with a gynecologist specialist for expert clinical assessment and further treatment
