What Causes Delay In Periods After Taking Contraceptive Pills?

Hi i am over due my periods with 8 days my last period date is 11/03/15 and I haven t got my periods yet nd on this Friday v r going for holiday so can I hold or delay my periods more with the morning after pill on do u have eny other options plz help me out. Ty ku

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You should first consider a pregnancy test if you are sexually active to rule out pregnancy.

If this is negative then you can consider starting to take the active pills. By using the active pills, your period would be delayed.

The period normally starts after the active pills have been completed.
