What Causes Decrease In TSH Level?
hello doctor,
my mother is suffering from thyroid problem since last15-20 yrs,she always has a bad report and we also have no believe in that because she takes her dose on time then why?
this time her tsh report says0.03 and the range is 0.35-5.50.
please help us what should we do?

Hello,
Good day. You mom is taking probably levothyroxine and the low TSH shows that she is over replaced. This means that, dose of thyroxine has to be reduced slightly. Please meet an endocrinologist. TSH need not be same all the time, but can vary. We aim to keep TSH in the normal range by adjusting the medications.
