What Causes Daytime Sleepiness?

During late morning and sometimes mid afternoon I can hardly keep my eyes open. They are so tired. Today I was driving about 300 miles and it hit me . I finally had to get off an exit, go to a parking lot and shut my eyes and rest about 20 minutes before continuing, I continued on but still had so eof same issue. I finally stopped and got food and drink and felt better. I had eaten a bagel and cup of coffee before I left about 7am. Today was the worst it has happened.

It seems to be due to inadequate breakfast and over exertion that causes low sugar and impact on daily routine activity work

I am giving you A brief diet chart

Breakfast :
never skip breakfast, i am giving you few option of food items you can take
2-3 toast + 1 bowl of milk with cereal
OR a bowl oats/porridge

OR parathas/upma/poha

Mid morning / snack:
1 fruit + yogurt, you can make fruit raita + nuts
OR fruit juice

Lunch:

2-3 rotis + vegetables + 1 bowl pulses (dal) +add a bowl of yogurt or paneer + 1 bowl of rice / paneer sandwich + salad

Evening snack:

Vegetable /sandwich can add cheese /

Night dinner:

Same as lunch
Can avoid Rice
