What causes cyst in the scrotum of a baby ?

I took my son to the doctor with a fluid filled cyst in his Scrotum . The Dr thinks it is hydrocele but has transferred us to a specialist to be on the safe side as the lump is not attached to testicle as it is normally in these cases. I m worried he has something else? Could it be anything else?

Few children suffer from hydrocele since birth .In few children it goes on its own ;& in some it increases & can be seen as in your child. There is presently no need to worry let the specialist see & he will advise treatment as required.Take care.
