What Causes Cyst In The Corpus Luteum During Pregnancy?

I m 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant and took my first ultrasound and I am detected with 5cm cyst. My doctor advised me to have CA 125, and she said that it might be a corpeus luteum cyst. but I m really scared right now also for my baby.please give me info and advised thanks

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion if the cyst is first time seen in pregnancy then it might be corpus luteal cyst.Dont worry they might not interfere with pregnancy and subside on their own.There status can be known by further ultrasound.If causing pain then intervention might be needed.
