What Causes Cyst In Female Genitals ?

I get cysts a lot on the skin near my female reproductive system and rarely I get them on my arms or legs. They are very painful and leave purple scars (even if I don t mess with them) and some are filled with whitish-brownish puss but mostly blood. I don t know what type of cyst they are or if they are even a cyst but I would like to know if there is a way I can get them to stop leaving scars or stop having them?

Hello,

1. you are most likely suffering from folliculitis as I think you must be having hairy skin and because of the itching or heat production, you have plucked one or two hair which has caused it.

2. Don't worry, apply Mupirocin (antibiotic) ointment over the infected area twice a day for 5 days. It will get better.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
