Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi my name is XXXX, My symptoms are that I have a mild cramp like feeling all of the time the last couple of weeks. I went and had an X-Ray taken and they said everything looked normal and all they saw was some gas?? What do you think this could be? It is right above the pelvic area all the way across and sometimes it climbs up the middle towards the nave. I have had a complete hysterectomy so I am sure that it out. Appreciate the info, the doctors where I live are not very good.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Collection of excessive gases in bowels (like on constipation cases or few infections) can cause your symptoms. A simple stool examination would diagnose infection / food allergies. X-ray after proper laxative/p/w enema would remove gas from X-ray & reveal other causes of pain in intestines, kidney or A 4 D USG scan would be better than X-ray would reveal adhesions as a cause. Please consult a gastroenterologist for proper physical examination & needful investigations followed by specific medications would help you.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
