Hi,
IUS is an intrauterine devise with slow release
progesterone to avoid
pregnancy. Once placed it can cause uterus to have cramps as this is a foreign body for uterus. This may take some time for settlement.
Irregular heart beats may not be due to IUS as it releases progesterone which has no pronounced action on heart. This may be related to heart problem or anxiety.
Please consult the Cardiologist for clinical evaluation as well as cardiac tests to confirm or rule out the possible cause and get treated accordingly.
Blood in stool can be due to
anal fissure, piles or polyp and needs the following:
Per-rectal digital palpation.
Ano-proctoscopy and
colonoscopy if needed.
Tests of stool and blood.
The treatment will be as per the cause found.
If any of the symptoms or signs are related to IUS then it may need removal.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant, General Surgeon
