General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You will need to have a good neurological examination to identify if the symptoms are persistent during the examination. In this case a neurological condition can be considered and proper other examinations might be needed to verify the diagnosis.

Motor neuron disease is the one to be ruled out when a patient experiences muscle twitching and spasms.

I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards,

Antoneta Zotaj
