What Causes Cramps And Tight Sensation In The Stomach?

I m having Prity strong menstrual like cramps and stomach tightness that comes and hose every 10 to 30 min. I m 37 almost 38 weeks pregnant and was dialated 2 and 50% effaced 2 weeks ago. Should I be concerned. Doc said I was dehydrated 3 Days ago so I have been drinking more water. The pains started the day after my appointment in seem to be getting stronger and closer but not completely timetable
