What Causes Cramps And Light Spotting Between Periods After Having Safe Sex?
Hello me and my girlfriend had protected sex on Feb 7 and then she started her period on Feb9 and it lasted till friday Feb 13. It was normal flow and a normal length period for her. I had protected sex with her yesterday Feb16 and today she started feeling like she was getting her period again. First she had a good amount of light pink, she would call it medium flow. Now she got a little blood again this evening but normal menstrual color. She says she had a menstrual headache today and cramping like her period was comming. I use condoms with cock ring to prevent slippage she uses the ovule too. I never cum in her and I check the condoms for leakage after use. What could be causing this. She is 41 and has been showing symptons of perimenopause a little.

It is related to menopause. It is imbalance of hormones due to reduced ovary function, which results in to menopause. As during this time it is common to have irregular periods. It is a natural process. Periods will be irregular and finally periods will stop. Chances of pregnancy are very rare, so don't worry.
I advise my patients to take it easy unless it causes serious pain or discomfort. Your friend can try norethisterone tablet for comfort. Definitive treatment is hormone replacement therapy.
