Hi, I took my 9 month old daughter 2 a clinic because she had runny nose un a little cough and thay said it was a cold but had a gut feeling that it was more than a cold so I took her to see the gp and he said she had a viral infection but she seems to be worse 2day she keeps having coughing fits witch is making her keking and bringing flem up on times. Gp sed chest was clear yday but is wheezy. I m consernd it could be more than I viral, she seems to b worse 2day not better!

Please note that viral infections take up to 1 week to clear up. If there is a breathing problem or the child is drowsy, then he needs hospitalization.
