What Causes Cough And Pain While Breathing & Body Movements?

I have been coughing and had pain in my right side (rib/chest area) for the past 5 weeks. Seen a GP last week and was diagnosed with pleurisy then prescribed a 10 day course of antibiotics (ending tomorrow). I sneezed today and felt/heard a pop/cracking sound from my mid rib area. It is now really painful to breath and move e.g walk, lift my right arm, turn etc. I was just wondering if it would be worth making an appointment to see the Dr again?

the infection is probably in the resolving state leaving a pleural scar/adhesion and fibrosis / consolidation in the lung

please go for a chest X-ray and it will tell you what happened actually

sputum testing also important as this will detect tuberculosis if it is there

get well soon!
