What Causes Cough And Cold Along With Headaches?

I flew from SE MN where it was cold & humidity was up. I flew into Phoenix & am in Mesa Wed this past week. I felt so much better the next day & then I developed a nagging cough. On Friday I was feeling awful so I’ve been takingMucinex, then Advil cold & sinus & Tylenol, & a pill for coughing from my MN dr. I have Fibromyalgia & Asthma & had a total knee replacement 7 wks ago. I’ve got a headache & wondering if from change of air or viral. Help!

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You are having viral respiratory infection as per history. For that symptomatic management done with Levocetrizine OD for five days. Steam inhalation done three times a day. Drink more water. Take one teaspoon turmeric powder with milk daily. You are having asthma so auscultation should be done and If needed spirometry done. Consult a pulmonologoist for examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
