What Causes Cough After Undergoing Angioplasty?

Hello Dr. My mother has gone through angioplasty 1 month before and she has done her first checkup as well, since after a week of angioplasty, she got cough, we have informed Dr. about it and doctor has changed her medicine (Brilinta 90) to Plavix 75 also increased dytor 10 tablet from 1 time a day to 2 times a day, its now 2 days over she got little relief by 50% but still cough not 100% gone, kindly advice how long it will take to recover completely and is it due to medicine side effect or any other reason ? i am very much worried, kindly advice. Regards

Well come to HCM
The cough because of the angioplasty is not likely but this could be due to allergic constitution or if the ACE inhibitor is there in her line of treatment then this need to be omitted you need to discuss with her doctor, otherwise this is just nothing to worry even no need to treat the cough, if she is not diabetic then pure honey can be tried prior to bed just two tea spoon, hope this information helps.
